I saw this on the Henry Poole & Co web site the other day. There is no description provided but that’s fitting as it’s beautiful beyond words.

Is it just me who finds that Henry Poole’s website seems to have disappeared, when following the link?

Oddly, it went down shortly after I wrote this post. I would have thought they’d have it back up by now!

Quite a beautiful jacket, though I’m not sure how I sit with a DB smoking jacket.

Off topic:
Do you think this black-tie like blazer, is the best way to initiate my hyper casual teen cousins into the formality?

I think a black velvet blazer would make a much better transition garment. It’s hipper than a standard dinner jacket yet at the same time respectful of formal wear’s intended understatement. I wore one with my black-tie kit to a friend’s Oscar party recently and it looked very sharp.
